My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, though old, was spacious with a large comfy bed and nice bathtub, making it suitable for a weary traveler. However, it was not as fancy as expected, and the twin beds pushed together instead of a double bed was a letdown. The service was a rollercoaster; while the restaurant reception staff were fantastic, locking my room for leaving money on the bed, the overall attentiveness and friendliness were positives. The location, despite the sleazy surroundings, was convenient, close to Bangkok's tourist attractions and public transport. The dining experience fell short of expectations and was too expensive, with a small and unwelcoming pool area. Overall, the facilities were decent, earning a moderate rating.
